DINING

La Cascada Acapulco Mexican Restaurant – having done Mexico many times, this is as close as authentic you will get. Bring your Spanish dictionary to help converse with the real Hispanic waitpersons. Just two blocks from the studio.

Ivars at the ferry – one of the many Ivar’s Fish bars and restaurants, famous in Seattle. Right over the water with an outdoor deck that almost touches the ferry dock. 5 blocks from the studio with easy parking.

The Tin Fish – another  delightful seafood specialty eating place just 4 blocks from the studio.

Whidbey Coffee – best down home coffee bar around with their own blends. Finest sandwiches made on the spot and a great deck with an amazing view.

Z’s Burgers – most authentic burger bar around and full of Boeing nostalgia. Unspeakably fab burgers and worth the 2 mile run.

Arnie’s – a fine restaurant (fish, fowl and beef) with a stunning view of Whitbey Island, Camano Island and the year round Mt. Baker snows.  And the Mukilteo/Clinton ferry comes and goes before you. Only 3 easy walking blocks from the studio.
